We are a group of businesses and individuals who are passionate about raising awareness of fair trade in Queensland. If you’ve heard about the injustice of the international trade system and want to take action, you can start right here in your own backyard. The QFTC is here to give you a local perspective on the global struggle for equality and justice in international trade.
From general information and links about fair trade issues, to listings of ethical producers and retailers, we aim to keep Queenslanders in the picture on the crisis which maintains millions of people around the world in a state of poverty.
We also work together with the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand (FTAANZ) to bring you the Queensland take on Fair Trade Fortnight – two weeks of events and publicity designed to bring trade justice to the attention of consumers and businesses around Australia.
