The brainchild of ethical importer One Colour and an enterprising new Brisbane designer, Two Beat Tremble, our Ethical Fashion Showcase went off with a shimmy at happening city nightspot Jorge on George.
A capacity crowd were treated to cutting-edge fashion from talented and socially aware Australian designers. Celebrity compare Melissa Downes and models from Vivien's all donated their time for the event. A sponsored venue and loads of donated goodies to distribute in party bags ensured the free-entry evening was a sumptuous success all round. With a world-class bar serving continuously and so many people that we had to stand on the banquettes to see the stage, the experience brought trade justice a bucketload of glamour and a much-needed spotlight
Designers featured were Limedrop, Romance Was Born, Poke, Mother Maria, Two Beat Tremble, Daksha, Maiocchi, Gladragz and One Colour.
