Ethical Fashion Designer Spotlight 3: Sinerji
In the lead up to Fair Trade Fortnight 2010 and our very special Fair Trade High Tea, we will be unveiling the fabulous labels and designers who will be featured in our Ethical Fashion Showcase during the Fair Trade High Tea one by one! Our third designer to get the spotlight is the amazing Sinerji.
Sinerji is an ethically and sustainably produced fashion label. Sinerji pieces are original, stylish and comfortable and are created using beautiful, hand loomed, organic cotton and natural vegetable dyes.
The designers, Alice and Louise, have travelled yearly to Chiang Mai in Thailand, staying for 4-5 weeks, spending time with the cotton growers, women who loom the fabric and the tailors. Over 2 ½ years this has allowed them to form relationships built on trust and so better support the people in their supply chain.

Louise and Alice of Sinerji value versatility and environmental and ethical integrity. They are committed to the principles of fair trade, creating community and environmental sustainability. For more information visit: www.sinerji.com.au.
