Fair Trade Fortnight – Australia and New Zealand’s biggest celebration of all things fair trade, is on again from 1-14 May 2010.

Fair Trade High Tea
Celebrate Fair Trade Fortnight 2010 in style with the QFTC at the first-ever Fair Trade High Tea in Brisbane, featuring:
• International Guest Speaker – Kohinoor Yeasmin: Kohinoor will speak on her personal experiences and how fair trade has transformed her own life and the lives of those within Bangladesh. For more details on our inspirational guest speaker and her experiences, please click here.
• Ethical Fashion Showcase: Featuring an eclectic mix of inspiring labels and designers – proving style doesn’t have to be sacrificed for ethical clothing. Click here for more information on these amazing ethical labels!
• Live Music: By classically trained pianist Mitchell Dormer.
During the key Queensland event for Fair Trade Fortnight 2010, indulge without the guilt in delicious finger food accompanied by Fair Trade coffee and tea, with a dazzling glass of champagne on arrival.
The Fair Trade High Tea will be held at the Arts Centre, overlooking the Brisbane River, at St Margaret’s Anglican Girls’ School, Ascot on Saturday 8 May 2010, between 2 and 4pm. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased online (through a variety of secure methods) by going to www.qldfairtrade.org.au.
