Playing Fair is an online kids store with an ethical difference: every item that Playing Fair stocks is Fair Trade.
All of our products are sourced through regional members of the World Fair Trade Organization, and we are members of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand. The independent official endorsement of our suppliers ensures that the people who created our garments received a fair price for goods produced in decent and humane conditions.
Our Fair Trade not only says "no" to sweatshops, child labour, and economic slavery, but "yes!" to income security, safe working conditions, and the opportunity to grow and develop one's skills. When you shop with us, you are directly improving the lives of producers in developing countries, and you are providing a practical demonstration for the children in your life of what your values are and how to live them.
We have clothes for newborns, babies, toddlers and young children, for boys and girls. We stock groovy, ethnic, world-citizen styles from Susu Mama, who is a British Association of Fair Trade Shops recognised fair trade importer. We have beautiful, playful, contemporary styles from HOPE, who are members of the Fair Trade Federation. And we have handcrafted shoes, toys and accessories from Sana Hastakala, who are a founding member of Fair Trade Group Nepal and members of the World Fair Trade Organisation.
Playing Fair delivers Australia-wide, and the climate impact of each individual delivery is neutralised by the purchase of carbon offsets on your behalf. Customers in Brisbane also have the option of making a free local pickup.
