Ethical Fashion Showcase: Designer Spotlight #2
In the lead up to Fair Trade Fortnight 2010 and our very special Fair Trade High Tea, we will be unveiling the fabulous labels and designers who will be featured in our Ethical Fashion Showcase during the Fair Trade High Tea one by one! Our second designer to be revealed is the amazing Joy French.
Proving that style doesn’t have to be sacrificed for ethics, the Ethical Fashion Showcase will feature a wide range of amazing and ethical labels who produce both in Australia and source internationally.
Joy French invites us to visit a universe where passion bleeds into art and art evolves into high fashion, creating a unique range of garments that are innovative, inspired and contemporary.
The Joy Collection is made from 100% certified organic Australian cotton or eco denims and is manufactured here in Australia under ethical and carbon neutral conditions. Fabrics are coloured using accredited eco dyes for colour and garments are stitched to ensure quality and durability.
Joy French is pushing the green movement, whilst showing initiative in keeping the Australian fashion industry ethical – it’s guilt free fashion.
